Privacy settings in Adium!

Adium is a great replacement for many instant messaging applications. I use it every day to replace Microsoft Messenger. One thing that I have noticed is that I have started getting a lot of spam. By default, Microsoft Messenger blocks everyone that is not on your contact list. Adium works the other way around, but you can change that setting:

1. Go to Adium, Privacy Settings...
2. Change "Privacy level" to "Allow only contacts on my contact list".

Thanks for this tip. I had actually deactivated my MSN account in Adium because of all the spam I was getting.

Let me just point out that this is NOT in preferences, but directly under the Adium menu. I had missed it for ages..
