Repeat in iTunes!

This is not new to iTunes, but I have never talked about it and Apple probably assumes it is obvious, because it is not explained anywhere. In the lower left corner of the iTunes window, the third button is for "repeat". There are three repeat modes and here they are:

No repeat:


The playlist repeats:


The individual song repeats:

I've been using iTunes for a while, so I know about it... but it's good to know for someone just starting out with the app.

I'd never used those buttons. The repeat function is something I've never used as I never need to hear the same playlist over and over.

I actually delete most playlists after listening to them the first time as rarely want to hear the same playlist again and again.

Thanks for posting this hint! I didn't know whether the blue light meant repeat was on or that repeat was off. I searched for instructions and found your pictorial reference to be very helpful!
