Cycle through the weather options in dashboard!
A great tip submitted by Peter Czosek: Cycle through the weather options in dashboard! It is more a fun tip than a productivity tip but it looks very cool in front of your friends who use PC. In dashboard, you just have to press "Command-Option" and click anywhere on the weather widget (the one included with the OS). The city will switch to "Nowhere" and if you continue to hold "Command-Option" and keep on clicking, you'll cycle through all the possible weather conditions. There are a lot! If you leave the dashboard and reopen it, the widget should come back to your original city. Thanks for the tip Peter!

Pressing Cmd+R will also refresh the widget so you don't have to leave the Dashboard.
oh i just found out tht if u hold the apple button and press esc, you can access the same menu as you use the controller. :)
Kevin the menu is called "front row"
Great tip both from trevor and Macgeek
thanx for the dashboard tip! but i have to say that this time i am more impressed by the comments.. kevin i've been looking all over for that shortcut!! good one mate!
lol...cute. cmd+r is nifty too...I had fun just clicking on everything and making it go all swooshy and such. Mac has all the cool looking effects... :)
while we're on the topic of cool widget shortcuts...it was addressed earlier in this blog that if you hold option on a widget the little "x" appears in the corner of it so that you can close it without going through the pain of clicking the plus in the corner of the screen and such.
Also, get widgets from Interdimension Media and iSlayer! cool stuff out there ;)
