Notes in the menu bar!

I discovered a cool menu bar item that basically adds easily accessible Notes in the menu bar.  It is called Scribblet.  It is much more convenient than the Notes widget because it can hold a lot more text.  The only disadvantage I found is that it asks you to save.  That can be rectified by turning on auto-save in the Preferences.  Learn more and download link here on MacUpdate.

This could be a really useful product for quick note taking. The problem is that the keyboard activation sequence is the Command+`, the same sequence used to switch between application windows. That makes the product un-usable for me. Hopefully they will change or deactivate the keyboard activation.

Looks useful if I find out how to use it correctly. Does the "Volume/Disk Image" have to remain on my desktop?

If a "scribble" is to be retained and not overwritten by the next "scribble", is it necessary to open the drawer, choose "Show in Finder", open it in "Text Edit", then choose "Save as..." and rename it? - seems very complex!
