Zooming in and out in Photoshop!

This might be an easy tip for pro designers, but I think it is worth mentioning.  There is the standard shortcut for zooming in and out and that is "Command -" or "Command +".  There is a much quicker and more precise way using the mouse scroll wheel.  The shortcut is "Option" and the scroll wheel.

I like this one! I tend to do it by mistake sometimes though.

And Google Maps zooms in when you scroll up or down - this one I always do accidently.

You can also hold Command+Spacebar to obtain the zoom tool, then click and drag. Option+Command+Spacebar to zoom out the same way.
