Printing without headers and footers in Safari!

By default when printing a webpage, a header and a footer containing info such as the URL is included.  If you want what you printed to look more like a document than a webpage, you can use a feature in Safari that omits the header and footer.  To do so, uncheck "Print headers and footers".

That must be a Leopard only feature.

I’m running Safari 3.1.2 on OS 10.4.11 and have no such options in my print dialog.

This option IS available in Tiger. In the Print Menu, in the line below "Presets", the default is "Copies and Pages", click on that and select "Safari" That will give you the option to deselect "Print headers and footers"
