Reversed pictures in Photobooth!

One of the thing that I only realized lately is that PhotoBooth actually captures the picture reversed (like in a mirror). You don't really see it most of the time. You can really see the problem if you are taking a picture of something that has text on. There is a nice option in the Photobooth menu that will let you flip the photo instantly. If you don't want to worry about that all the time though, you can simply choose "Auto Flip New Photos" from the Edit menu. You'll see the same thing than usual until you take the shot. It will flip it only when it is captured.

I'm sorry for the totally unrelated comment but i didn't find your emailadress or anything on this blog and i have a question.

i always read your blog and the tips are very useful, but right now i have a problem with my mac and i dont know what to do about it.

when the battery runs down, it doesn't go in "deep sleep" anymore, it just shuts down without any warning, so sometimes i lose the unsaved changes in a document or in an e-mail.

also, when i turn my ibook on again after it has shut down because of the battery, the date is set on 1970?!

it would be great if anyone could tell me how to fix this! thanks!

Hey L, your laptops bios battery or some kind of battery is probably dead. I believe that these are usually just plain button batteries, but I've never replaced one in a mac.

Whoa, Andrew. Learn how to be polite and exert even the most rudimentary manners. If you're concerned about the authors grammatical mistakes, privately address the issue or find another blog more suited to your taste. Otherwise pipe down.

It looks like you need to reset your PMU (power management unit). You can find out how on the apple support site. However, be warned this is a radical step and will erase your ram disc.

Do you have any ideas on why email that is sent through photobooth will delete text that follows the photos? Mail that was sent to a hotmail account only received text typed in above the photo, if sent to macs mail all text (above and below) is received just fine.
