Flashy Expose!

This tip is more aimed at impressing your friends than for productivity. You can use the traditional Expose buttons F9, F10 and F11 while holding down the "Shift" button. It will complete the same task it is supposed to do but in slow motion. The result can look pretty cool. Here are some screenshots showing what it does. If it was really moving in real time, I could never have taken these screenshots:

You can slow down many things in Mac OS X. For instance, if you hold shift and press F12, your widgets will come and go slowly, and if you hold shift while pressing the minimize button on a window, it will minimize slowly.

If you have a lot of finder windows open, if you hold option + shift and press the minimize button, they will all minimize slowly. It's pretty cool.

You can minimize even slower by pressing ctrl+shift.
The best thing is that in Quicktime, the video will still be playing !
Idem for Exposé... sometimes you can even play games (such as nuBolo) !
