Changing effect in Photobooth!
There is a quick way of changing effect in Photobooth that is not indicated in the Menus. To go to the effect 1, press "Command - 1". "Command - 2" will bring you to the effects number 2. Once you are in the page where you can choose an effect, you just have to press the number corresponding to the effect. As an example, 5 will select the "Normal" effect.

To turn off the flash, you could set the screen brightness to 0.

Now is there a way to take pic's in photobooth using the apple remote?
There is a cool App I found on the Apple site. It lets you do just about anything with either the Apple remote, or it allows you to set up a bluetooth remote. It's called Remote Buddy. It let's you do anything from taking pictures with photobooth, to typing and moving the mouse.
For Juustro that asked about flash. Holding down the "shift" key will turn off the flash. Holding down the "option" key will turn off the countdown, and you can also press them simultaneously to turn both features off.
Great with the turn off flash tip have been looking for that – thanks!
People will really enjoy photo booth with its different effects that you can apply to make your photos looks nice and attractive.
